Youth Sunday - Christ the King
On the Feast of Christ the King at the 11.00 am Mass we will celebrate the contribution of our young people in the life of the parish. If any of our young people would like to take part in the Mass please sign on the sheet in the Narthex.

National raffle tickets on sale next week-end: lots of cash prizes.
Annual Mass for sick and housebound will take place on Friday 25th November at 11.00 am. Tickets for the buffet will be issued shortly, any parishioner who might be eligible should contact a member of the SVP

Prisoners’ Sunday
Next Sunday is Prisoners’ Sunday, a day for prayer, reflection and action for prisoners, ex-offenders, their children and families, victims of crime, and all those who work in the
criminal justice system. As you can imagine this day has particular significance for me. There will be a collection basket available in the Narthex for pact – a charity dedicated to helping these prisoners and families make a fresh start. Please give generously. Bedlingtonshire Churches Together Advent Service
There will be an ecumenical advent service at St John’s, Anglican church, Bedlington Station, Sunday, 27th November at 4.30 pm
Remembrance Sunday
This week-end our nation remembers those who have lost their lives in armed conflicts. The parade will be gathering at the Salvation Army hall at 2.00 pm and leave for the War Memorial in Front Street at 2.15 pm with a brief service there at 2.30 pm
RCIA - Journey of Faith
For the first part of the this years programme John O’Neill is focusing on the person of Christ as revealed to us in Mark’s Gospel. Next week he will be taking us through the Jesus’ Journeys outside Galilee Adult formation of the Apostles – Leadership with service. Jesus’ passion foretold . The group will gather in the meeting room at 7.00pm, all are welcome
Parish Ceildh
There will be a parish Ceilidh, Saturday 10th December at 7.30 pm. Tickets - £5 for adults, £2 for children and senior citizens . There will be a shared table
Parish Day of Recollection
This will take place on 19th November at the Franciscan Friary at Alnmouth from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm. Please sign on the sheet in the Narthex if you’d like to take part in this day. The theme is ‘The Dignity and Vocation of all that are Baptised.’ Cost will be £10.
Respite Care for Carers
Mrs Sheila Errington, one of the directors of St Cuthbert’s Care spoke at the end of the 11.00am mass last Sunday about a scheme called ‘Side by Side’, which offers respite care for carers. Please see information in the narthex or contact Fr Chris

Christmas cards will be on sale this weekend, orders also being taken.

This list was put together by the pastoral group to make people aware of a number of organisations that do offer help to a whole range of problems. If there are any organisations that you think should be on the list please let me know.
