Apart from Friday, Mass will be at 10.00 am and this will be preceded each day by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. In the evenings there will be the following at 7.00 pm The first four evenings will be focusing on the significance of the sacrament of baptism, and what that means for our understanding of Jesus Christ and for our discipleship of him. I would encourage as many of you as possible to take part. I am grateful to those parishioners who have been involved with the preparations and it would be good to support them in what they are doing on our behalf.
· Monday 3rd - I am the Light of the World
· Tuesday 4th - I Baptise with Water
· Wednesday 5th - Anointed Priest, Prophet and King
· Thursday 6th - Christ in the Parish
· Friday 7th - Silver Jubilee Mass, Ordained Ministry shaping the Baptismal Priesthood, followed by a social.
Please keep the mission in your prayers this week. Our focus must be Jesus who calls us to share in the life of God. I hope this week brings us closer to Jesus and deepens our love and knowledge of Him. You are all very welcome to all the events that are taking place during the week, that includes the Jubilee Mass. I am delighted to say that members of my family, friends and various people I have come into contact over the past twenty five years will be joining us for the Mass. A special warm welcome to Fr John Gibbons, a former curate of the parish who will be preaching at the Jubilee Mass.

Thanks
· I would like to express my thanks to the SVP for the Mass for the sick and the housebound. I found it a very moving occasion
· I am also grateful to all those who took part in the Youth Sunday Mass, with special thanks to our young parishioners Patrick Shields, Ciara Drape and Katie Hart for having the courage to share in such a public way the importance of their faith.
Sick and Housebound
It is important that our sick and housebound feel they are part of the Church and are able to receive the sacraments. If you are aware of any sick and housebound among your family and friends who are not able to attend Mass regularly due to illness or infirmity could you please let me know.
