Remembrance Sunday
This weekend we remember the victims of all global conflicts over the last 100 years. The annual remembrance parade and service will take place in Bedlington this Sunday afternoon. We will meet at Salvation Army car park at 2.00 pm and leave for the War Memorial, Front Street at 2.15 pm, with a service of remembrance at 2.30 pm.
Baptism
Today we welcome Lily Paige Venner into God’s family in baptism. We are asked to pray for Lily, her family, and all preparing for baptism.
Helping Bulgarian orphans
Beth Lacy is looking for people to make a regular donation to provide day care for a Bulgarian orphan. Please sign list in Narthex.
Confirmations in 2013
Confirmations will be led by Bishop Cunningham on 3rd May next year. If you would like to be confirmed next year please notify me by Monday evening, 12th November.
RCIA - Journey of Faith continues on Thursday evening at 7.00 pm.
John O’Neill will continue his exploration of Mark’s Gospel. If you would like to know more about the scriptures I would recommend these sessions.
Preparation for Mission
Please continue to pray for this mission. The main focus of the mission is to celebrate our shared discipleship of Jesus which we celebrate in the sacrament of baptism. For more information please see the stand on the right as you leave the Narthex.
First Holy Communion Programme
Today at our 11.00 am Mass our First Holy Communion candidates will be making their Profession of Faith
Annual Mass for the Deceased
The annual Mass for all those who have died in the parish during the past twelve months will take place on Friday 16th November at 7.00 pm. Light refreshments will be served in the hall afterwards. During the Mass I will read out the names of all those whose funerals have
taken place from St Bede’s in the past twelve months. If any family or friends have died during the past twelve months but whose funerals were not from St Bede’s I am very happy to include them during the Mass but please inform me by writing of their name and date of death.
SVP Annual Mass for healing followed by afternoon tea will take place on Friday 23rd November. Tickets available soon.

Christ in the World group
The next meeting will be on Friday 23rd November at 7.00 pm will be exploring the notion of freewill.
Priest’s Training Fund remains open for individual private or family donations.

Supporting of survivors of Breast Cancer
There will be a coffee morning on Thursday 22nd November from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm at the offices of Coop Funeralcare, Bedlington.
