Preparation Day for Mission - Saturday 15thSeptember

Next week-end the music team that will help our own musicians during the mission week of 2nd December to 9th December will be coming to join us.  On Saturday 16th September there will be a preparation day will be for all those who have kindly offered to take part in the mission liturgies. We will probably start the day with a liturgy that will reflect some of the themes of the mission and hopefully give people an indication of how the liturgies during the mission could look like. After this we will spend the rest of the morning reflecting on Baptism and preparing the liturgy for that Sacrament. After lunch we will split up into  different groups to work on the other liturgies and the musicians and myself will be on hand to advise in terms of music and any other features of the liturgies.  Please contact me if you have any queries about this. The day will start with tea/coffee at 9.30 am, and the preparation day commence at 10.00 am and finish at 4.00 pm.  Please bring a packed lunch. If you cannot make the day but would like to take part in the Mission please sign the list on the notice board in the narthex. The musicians will also be joining us for the weekend Masses.
