Holy Week Services

The liturgies for Holy Week, especially the Easter Triduum services of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter vigil on Holy Saturday are an opportunity for us to encounter  the love and grace of God revealed to us through his death and resurrection which we especially remember in the Eucharist.  I would encourage as many of you as possible to do all you can to be at these three services since they are at the heart of our faith.  Also at the Easter vigil John Warwick will be received into the church and his wife Sarah, their children Joseph and Ben, and Jamie and Harrison Bellizzi will also be baptised. All the adults will also be confirmed We continue to keep them in our prayers.

The Easter Triduum services will be:

Maundy Thursday:  Mass of the Last Supper at 7.30 pm, with watching at Altar of Repose until 10.00 pm

Good Friday:  Celebration of the Lord’s Passion at 3.00 pm.

Holy Saturday :   Easter vigil for the Lord’s Resurrection at 8.00 pm,

Easter Sunday : Mass for Easter Sunday, 10.00  am.

The lists for  the Triduum services are on notice board in the Narthex.

Lent   is an opportunity for us to take stock of our relationship  with God and to be aware of where in our lives we need to grow in grace. Our faith is based on the belief that God has, is and will always offer the life of grace to us in Christ Jesus. How can you and I be aware of and respond to this constant and generous offer?

During Lent the following activities will be taking place:
