Moving Forward In Hope
Next weekend Fr Jim O’Keefe who is the priest in the diocese who is facilitating the moving in hope process, will be coming to both Masses to share with you the purpose and aims of this process. I think it is of the utmost importance that as many as the parishioners as possible hear what Fr O’Keefe has to say. I sense he has a very clear perception of what the diocese is seeking to achieve in this process. So if you wish to know how this process applies to you and our parish please do what you can to be at St Bede’s next weekend.
Father O’Keefe has expressed a willingness to meet some of our young parishioners after the 10.00 am Mass. I would encourage as many of our young people to take this opportunity to express their view point.
Journey of Faith on Wednesday at 6.30 pm. We will explore the sacraments with particular emphasis on the Sacrament of Initiation.

Lent is less than two weeks away. Ash Wednesday is on 18th February. For this Lent it is our parish’s turn to host the ecumenical Lenten lunches on Thursday’s during Lent. The various churches will take responsibility for providing the soup but will still need volunteers to heat and serve the soup. Any volunteers would be welcome. On Thursday 19th February is will be our responsibility to provide the soup, so volunteers for this would also be appreciated.
